Episode 2
On April 21st 2015 another preparatory meeting towards the Third European Congress of Psychoanalysis PIPOL 7, took place in Catalonia, where Josep Maria Panés introduced the theme "Trauma: Childhood and Abuse" through a reference from Jacques Lacan’s Seminar 10. "(...) restoring the characteristic I brought out in a previous lesson as essential to the victim of the sacrifice, the characteristic of being spotless." It is from the Piaget's particular reading of the story of Niobe, that Lacan introduces in his Seminar 10 the question of the sacrificial victim as spotless. This statement opens towards a new perspective from where to think the signifier 'Victim', and its possible links with other signifiers: trauma, childhood, abuse. Graciela Esebbag presented this event.
