Autres Ecrits by Jacques Lacan, in the Casa delle Traduzioni, Rome
On February 20th 2014, on the occasion of the presentation of the Italian translation of the Autres Ecrits, the event "Il Lacan che Joysce. Tradurre Lacan" was held, at the Casa delle Traduzioni, in Rome. It was organised by the Freudian Institute together with the Library of the Freudian Field. On this occasion the book by Antonio Di Ciaccia, translator of the Autres Ecrits into Italian, was presented. His book reveals precious details of this experience of translation, and it was introduced by the attentive reading of Nadia Fusini. Nadia Fusini is an Italian writer, literary critic and translator. She is former Head of Shakespearean Critic at the La Sapienza University, she teaches at the Institute of the Freudian Field and collaborates with the cultural section of La Repubblica newspaper. Antonio Di Ciaccia is a psychoanalyst in Rome, AME of the ECF; SLP and member of the WAP. President of the "Istituto freudiano per la clinica la terapia e la scienza” (Freudian Institute for therapy, clinic and science", which he instituted with J. A. Miller. He directs the journal "La psicoanalisi". He is the author of national and international publications and contributions. He translates and sets the work of Jacques Lacan in Italy.
