Extraordinary Event. Echoes of #MillerEnMadrid Conference and Open Debate with Jacques-Alain Miller: "The Victory against Le Pen in France and its Consequences, in the International Politics of Psychoanalysis"
On May 13th 2017, an event of Psychoanalysis of the Lacanian Orientation took place in Madrid, which had as its main voice Jacques-Alain Miller and also the president of the WAP, Miquel Bassols.
Under the title "The Victory against Le Pen in France and its Consequences, in the International Politics of Psychoanalysis", Jacques-Alain Miller gave a conference and participated in an open debate organized by the ELP, with Andrés Borderías, director of the community of Madrid of the ELP.
It was an unprecedented event, broadcast from the Palacio de la Prensa in Madrid, live on Radio Lacan and through video conference to thirty-six of the different venues of the Schools of the WAP.
As an introduction to the conference, a roundtable was organized with the title "The Venezuelan Act" in which Miquel Bassols, Rosa López and Raquel Cors Ulloa participated.
After the conference by Jacques-Alain Miller, the debate took place with the interventions of some of the colleagues in the room, such as Jorge Alemán, Juan Pundik, Juan Carlos Tazedjian, Santiago Castellanos, Guy Briole and Ana Castaño, and also the audience who sent their questions via Twitter and to an email address created by the ELP exclusively for the occasion.
In this series, Radio Lacan adds the opinions of some colleagues who heard and participated in the event.
We are grateful to Jacques-Alain Miller for permitting us to share with Radio Lacan listeners this event of Psychoanalysis of the Lacanian Orientation.
