During the 2016-2017 academic year, Pierre Naveau will follow the orientation proposed by Jacques Alain Miller at his conference in Rio to address the path that Lacan has taken with regard to the relationship between the unconscious and the drive and the articulation of the unconscious and jouissance. To do that, it will take as its starting point Seminar V and the Freudian analysis of the joke; Where can the "jousissance of the misunderstanding" be placed? Bearing in mind the current political circumstances, Pierre Naveau, approaches the passage "From Hatred to Violence" in this course.
