Radio Lacan in the 7th Enapol: #ImagenesAgujereadas [#PiercedImages]
Radio Lacan joins the 7th American Meeting of Psychoanalysis of the Lacanian Orientation: Enapol.
To be held in on September 4th and 5th 2015, the 19th International Encounter of the Freudian Field and 7th ENAPOL "The Empire of Images" will take place in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Radio Lacan decided to join with its own podcast entitled "The Not-All of the Image".
That is why we invited a group of colleagues of the WAP to transmit us in an oral text, a contribution related to the theme of this meeting, ta episode of the series created by Charlie Brooker, Black Mirror, as a reference. This television series brings to light the opacity of life, in so far as what is in command is the knowing-how of technology, without desire, thus showing in act the failure of the techno world with regards to the emergence of anxiety in the speaking-beings.
Thus, this production by Radio aims to capture - through the hashtag #Imagenesagujereadas- the reading that each guest may offer, having as its orientation the Meeting's argument: "It is the empire of images that is projected onto the wall of language. Multiple, fragmented, ubiquitous, disproportionate, intrusive images, unmediated images that impact, fascinate, traumatize, affecting subjectivities and bodies, sometimes becoming their references; paradoxes of our times... The consequences of the technological ability to build devices able to show through images that which remains hidden to the gaze, made scientific progress be introduced in everyday life so that virtual media promises that all human activity could be captured in images. The social consequences of this horizon may be as interesting as frightening ... "
The invitation is in motion ...
The podcast series is proposed by Gleuza Salomon (EBP), Raquel Cors Ulloa (NEL) and Liliana Mauas, director of Radio Lacan, who will coordinate it.
