On May 19th 2018, on the occasion of the 12th Colloquium of the NEL which took place in Cochabamba, Bolivia, Gustavo Dessal gave a conference under the title"Observations on Moral Sadism and the Function of the Superego in Some Forms of Violence" during which he provided an excellent and enlightening development of the difference between "Thou art the one who wilt follow me" and "Thou art the one who wilt follow me" analyzed by Lacan.
