The NEL on the way to the XII Conference "Sexuality(ies)?
On the 9th of July, a preparatory activity was held at the NEL for the XII Conference to be held in October 2022 in Guatemala under the title "Sexuality(ies)?”. The invited speakers were Felipe Maino, Lizbeth Ahumada and José Fernando Velásquez, with Lorena Greñas proposing questions and comments that aptly problematise the theme. Lizbeth's intervention takes as a reference some of the words that Eric Laurent presented at the X Enapol in 2021. Thus, in light of Freud's case of the young homosexual woman, the Lacanian interpretation of Gide and the trans position of characters in university public life, problems were tackled that reflect the title of the conference, insofar as the plurality of sexuality is highlighted.
