SLP-Turin- Conference: "Love, Polyamory and Amorous Wanderings".
On the 24th of January 2025, a conference organised by the Secretariat of the SLP of Turin entitled " Love, polyamory and amorous wanderings " was held in Turin.
On this occasion, a historical reading of the phenomenon of polyamory (as a plurality of polyamorous practices) was proposed within the set of different affective liberation movements of long tradition, which emerged as a challenge to the mononormative positions of traditional relationships. Psychoanalytic reading has highlighted how the polyamory movement induces us to confront a perspective of pluralisation, a distinctive feature of today's society, increasingly less organised around the symbolic paternal function, which introduces in its place a dissymmetry between brotherhoods. In this epochal paradigm shift, how can psychoanalysis keep up with today's society and the malaise that characterises it?
We propose, for Radio Lacan, the interventions of Liliana Ellena and Sergio Caretto.
