On the 7th of June, 2019, Daniel Roy gave a public lecture in Turin entitled “The Connected Child. Psychoanalysis, Childhood, Virtual Realities.” He introduced an interesting pathway of work, based on the difference between the structuring connection for the child with the discourse of the Other and the drive as a possibility for the enigma to emerge and the realization of a separation, on the one hand; and on the other the symptoms that the uses of miniature screens generate in children and adolescents and that concern today's parents.
