Paris Latin Seminar: A conversation with Guy Briole regarding his book "Monologue Shared with Madness"
On March 18th, 2026, an evening event organized by the Paris Latin Seminar—an activity of L’Envers de Paris in conjunction with the ACF in Île-de-France—took place with author Guy Briole to discuss his excellent book, *Monologue Shared with Madness.* The event was attended by Éric Laurent—who energetically shared his close reading of the work—as well as Olivia Bellanco and Flavia Hofstetter. Both the author and the colleagues who had meticulously studied the text drew out elements of great clinical nuance while revisiting points prompted by the book, such as the singular modalities of transference in psychosis and the significance—within this delicate clinical context—of the psychoanalyst's act.
