On the 3rd, 4th and 5th of November 2023, the XIII NELcf Conference "Cuts and Interpretations" was held in the city of Lima, Peru. Psychoanalysts from the NELcf, ECF, and EOL participated. From a political point of view, the question of what keeps speaking beings together in the face of the segregation of jouissance was addressed, particularly in relation to the non-hegemony of this School and how this creates a psychoanalytic community. From the clinical point of view, the question revolved around, how to impact the jouissance of the parlêtre. The refusal of knowledge, the condition of personal analysis, and supervision were addressed as ways of producing a pragmatic impact on the jouissance of the symptom. The proposal of a post-interpretative, a-semantic practice that orients to the cut, that does not aim at the cipher but at the writing of the letter as an effect of jouissance, was also present.
