On Friday the 30th of August 2024, Ana Eugenia Viganó, current President of the NEL, takes us through the passage from the irruption of libidinal changes in the pubescent body to adolescence as a time of understanding, in order to elaborate a new knowledge and a new solution to what is presented. The intimate experience of a new strange jouissance becomes a foreign body; the knowledge obtained until then is no longer useful to deal with this new strange libidinal irruption. At this moment, the question of the place in the desire of the Other is reproduced, and at the same time a partner is required to deal with the strangeness of sexual jouissance. For this, adolescents must wake up from their dreams and invent singular answers.
