An interview with Henri Kaufmanner, a member of the Epistemic Orientation Committee, about the “Preparatory Activities” for the 26th Brazilian Meeting of the Freudian Field (EBCF), which will take place on November 27th, 28th, and 29th, 2026, in Florianópolis. Henri Kaufmanner emphasized that the format of these activities, as well as that of the EBCF itself, is being developed based on what resonates and what can be formalized through psychoanalytic clinical practice. According to Henri, the idea of noise is precisely an attempt to locate the singular dimension specific to psychoanalysis—a dimension that psychoanalysis alone is capable of pursuing and of giving value to the effect of lalangue on the body, the resonances it produces, and the arrangements that the speaking being is capable of inventing.
