EBP- Preparatory activity for the XXIII Brazilian Meeting of the Freudian Field; "The Infamiliar and the regime of jouissance: theory and clinic"
The preparatory activity for the XXIII Brazilian Meeting of the Freudian Field "The Unfamiliar and the Regime of Jouissance: Theory and Clinic" was coordinated by Nohemi Brown and constitutes a research programme on the theme: "The feminine Unfamiliar: Saying the Unspeakable". Luis Francisco Espíndola Camargo presented a paper on "Bipartite Jouissance and its relation to the Family" based on Miller's reading that breaks with masculine and feminine binarism and inaugurates the last Lacan. Ana Lydia Santiago brought us an indication from Lacan's Seminar XXIII: "The Unfamiliar as it Undoubtedly Proceeds from the Imaginary Pointing to the Real" and the relation of the familiar with the Other and the scopic field.
