Anna Aromi Folch’s Public Conference: "What is a family?"
"What is a family?" is the public conference Anna Aromí Folch gave on September 5th, 2014, invited by the NEL-Mexico City, at Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana de México D.F (University of the Cloister of Sor Juana in Mexico DF). Anna Aromí Folch tells us, there, about the journey of a psychoanalysis which implies that, at least for a time, the analyzand will question the impact of their familiar figures, the father, the mother, and the brothers had for him... - that is what Freud let civilization know, as Oedipus. Lacan, meanwhile, began his teaching on the basis of "The complex family". Psychoanalysis can then, speak knowingly of what a family implies for an analyzand. Now, this does not exhaust what analytical experience teaches us, as analyzands and as analysts, on this subject. There is more, there is a beyond Oedipus and this beyond is where the most interesting things happen. Anna Aromí Folch is a psychoanalyst in Barcelona. Member of ELP and the WAP. She is AE of the School One. Coordinator of the Clinical Section of Barcelona. She has been responsible for the magazine publication of El Niño; and Director of the collection of books of the ECFB. She promotes the Gatherings of Film and Psychoanalysis and Stages of the research Groups of the Freudian Field Institute in Spain. She has multiple articles published in books and journals of the Freudian Field.
