“Giep-NLS: Conversations with Parlêtre”
Participants: Geert Hoornaert, Hadar Porat. Author: Gali Weinstein. It's not a secret. Miller writes that Lacan was not satisfied with the concept of the unconscious. In his talk about "Joyce le Symptôme", Lacan prophesied the parlêtre. For the changes in psychoanalysis in the 21st century, Miller suggests as an index, the movement towards the parlêtre. Geert Hoornaert was invited to discuss with us the line: "The Sinthome of the Parlêtre is 'an event of the body, an emergence of jouissance'(Miller, J.-A., "The Unconscious and the Speaking Body", (transl. A.R. Price presentation delivered in Paris, 17 April 2014).
What are the possible relations between the subject of the unconscious and the parlêtre? How this concept is associated with modes of jouissance and crises of our epoch?
