On April 21st 2015 another preparatory meeting towards the Third European Congress of Psychoanalysis PIPOL 7, took place in Catalonia, where Josep Maria Panés introduced the theme "Trauma: Childhood and Abuse" through a reference from Jacques Lacan’s Seminar 10. "(...) restoring the characteristic I brought out in a previous lesson as essential to the victim of the sacrifice, the characteristic of being spotless." It is from the Piaget's particular reading of the story of Niobe, that Lacan introduces in his Seminar 10 the question of the sacrificial victim as spotless. This statement opens towards a new perspective from where to think the signifier 'Victim', and its possible links with other signifiers: trauma, childhood, abuse. The Association of the Freudian Cause (ACF)-Massif Central invited Dr. Sabine Turbé, child psychiatrist responsible for the regional centre for victims of violence, and Cécile Miele, psychologist and criminologist at the CRIAVS (Resource Centre for professionals who work with sexual offenders). After the presentations an informal discussion with the public followed. Nadège Talbot shares with Radio Lacan the essential points of this meeting.
