The elections of sex at Radio Lacan: The die is cast
Radio Lacan has wanted to be present in the preparation of the annual meeting of the Schools of the WAP. On 6th and 7th December, the ELP will hold their 13th Conference, which is entitled "Election of the sex. From standard to invention". We think that cinema addresses some of these elections from different perspectives, and we've invited some of our colleagues from the various schools of the WAP so they could give us little hints about how they think that some film director in particular deals with this issue. On this occasion, we invited Flory Kruger, who tells us about XXY film, in which the director addresses the difficulties a young girl with chromosomal anomalies encounters, where there is a chromosome in excess, one more. It is about a hermaphrodite girl called Alex, a male name, but who is brought up as a girl, a woman. Flory Kruger is AME of the EOL and the WAP. She is member of the Statutory Council of the EOL and Vice-president of the American Federation of Psychoanalysis of the Lacanian Orientation. (FAPOL). Teacher at the Clinical Institute of Buenos Aires (ICdeBA) and of the mastery in Psychoanalytical Clinic from National University of San Martin. (UNSAM). Edition: Carmen Conca. Carmen Conca is a psychoanalyst in Zaragoza, member of the ELP and the WAP. Correspondent in Spain and member of Radio Lacan’s International Committee.
