"The lost gaze in consumption and shamelessness
On November 29 and 30 the XXIIIrd Annual Study-Days of the EOL will be held, under the title: "Borders of the Feminine. Sexualities, motherhood, women of today". In relation to this event Radio Lacan decided to contribute to these Study-Days making use of the 2011 English film directed by Steve Mc Queen, Shame, in order to read from there the feminization of the world"contemporary aspiration to femininity". On this occasion we invite Pablo Russo. Pablo Russo is a psychoanalyst in Buenos Aires, member of the EOL and the WAP. He is a teacher at the Clinical Institute of Buenos Aires and the Oscar Masotta Institute. He is co-responsible for the "Department of studies on the Family ‘’Enlaces" (Links) and former editor of the journal ‘’Enlaces (Links). Psychoanalysis and culture"(from 1998 to 2012). He is responsible for the Cycle of Cinema applied to Psychoanalysis - Open evenings of the EOL - since 2008, and Advisor for the Cinema and Psychoanalysis Cycle: "Lacanian box seat" - Responsible: E. Dianno-, Santa Fe, since 2013.
