Conference of Lacacanian Compass in Miami: "Clinical Practice in Institutional Contexts with Legal Cases: Legal Equality and Subjective Singularity before the Law"
On January 24th 2018 our colleague Irene Grieser gave the video conferenceentitled "Clinical Practice in Institutional Contexts with Legal Cases: Legal Equality and Subjective Singularity before the Law" at the Lacacanian Compass in Miami. It revolved around the modes of clinical intervention in opposition to the demands that come from legal devices that call for the regulation of the ties in cases of child neglect, or in the deregulation of the ties in families affected by symptoms of domestic violence. The elaboration of the evaluation reports that are requested bythe psychologists is often an obstacle between the clinical and the legal discourse. Alicia Arenas was responsible for the introduction.
