On August 14th, 2017 Mónica Torres gave an open conference invited by the Postgraduate with Children and Adolescents from Lacanian Orientation" and of the Master's Degree in Psychoanalysis of Lacanian Orientation at the Central University of Santiago de Chile. The conference was entitled "The Family and the Particular Misunderstanding: Single Mother and New Virilities" and was an interesting approach of the structural insatiable mother, paternal lack and failed virility that does not fulfill the function of the cut.
